This October, the Route 6 Motel opens its doors to the public after 40 years.

After the Martin’s disappearance, the motel was abandoned by everyone: the owners, the innkeeper, the guests. Abandoned by all, except one. The caretaker stayed to watch over his beloved motel, and has been living there for almost 40 years. He has claimed the motel as his own, despite its unfortunate tradition of disappearing guests.

His fierce protection of the motel is evident, and he has three words - one single warning - for all guests brave enough to walk through the front door.

Don’t Sleep Here.

"The haunted motel was incredible. Definitely the most scared I have been in a haunted house on PEI. I screamed like a baby through most of it."
